Sniper
Protection rules
Understand the protection settings that should be reviewed before a snipe.
Protection settings help you avoid obvious unsafe trades, but they do not guarantee a safe token or profitable execution.
Common controls
- Slippage tolerance
- Token risk checks
- Liquidity checks where available
- Buy and sell tax signals
- Max buy, max sell, or wallet-limit signals where available
- Route and chain validation
| Signal | What Dexfy checks |
|---|---|
| Honeypot behavior | Whether the token can be bought and sold through the selected DEX route. |
| Buy and sell tax | Observed output compared with expected output, reported as buy and sell tax basis points. |
| Transfer tax | Whether a token transfer loses value, including transfer-fee behavior where detectable. |
| Liquidity | Pool address, native liquidity value, and liquidity in USD when the engine can resolve it. |
| Max buy, max sell, max wallet | Detected amount limits and wallet-limit behavior where the chain and DEX route support probing. |
| Solana Token-2022 extensions | Transfer fee and transfer hook fields when available from the Solana token metadata. |
How to use protection rules
Treat protection as a required review step. If a token shows unclear or failed checks, pause and investigate before trading.
