Copy Trading
Copy trading risk controls
Use Dexfy limits and review habits to reduce copy trading mistakes.
Copy trading risk comes from the source wallet, the token, liquidity depth, latency, route support, and your own wallet sizing. Dexfy gives you configuration controls, but you should treat every copy setup as an automated strategy that needs review.
Controls to review
- Wallet selection: choose destination wallets intentionally.
- Sizing: keep mirrored amounts aligned with your wallet size and risk tolerance.
- Amount bounds: use minimum and maximum amounts to keep mirror/percentage sizing inside an acceptable range.
- Slippage: avoid letting volatile or illiquid tokens execute with careless tolerance.
- Risk checks: review tax, liquidity, honeypot, and wallet-limit signals where available.
- Filters and schedule: constrain DEXes, excluded tokens, source amount, detected liquidity, active UTC hours, weekends, and daily loss where appropriate.
- Monitoring: inspect activity after configuration changes and after source-wallet bursts.
When to pause a configuration
Pause or remove a configuration if the source wallet changes strategy, enters suspicious tokens, trades too frequently for your gas budget, or uses routes that Dexfy cannot safely mirror.
