Copy Trading

Source wallets and destination wallets

Understand how Dexfy separates tracked external source wallets from destination Dexfy wallets.

Copy trading uses two wallet roles:

  • Source wallets are external wallet addresses Dexfy watches for activity.
  • Destination wallets are your Dexfy wallets that can execute mirrored trades.

Dexfy does not control the source wallet. It watches confirmed activity and uses your saved configuration to decide whether a copied buy or proportional sell should be attempted.

Good source wallet hygiene

  • Track wallets with a consistent strategy, not only one lucky transaction.
  • Avoid copying wallets that trade tokens with tiny liquidity or unknown deployer behavior.
  • Assume some activity may not be copyable, especially private routes, unsupported DEXs, unsupported chains, or actions that cannot be mapped to your configuration.
  • Never use copy trading as a substitute for understanding token risk.

Destination wallet checks

  • Confirm the destination Dexfy wallets are on the same chain as the configuration.
  • Keep enough native asset for gas.
  • Keep wallet sizing small enough that slippage and liquidity can tolerate copied entries.
  • Review monitor status after any copied action.
  • Remember that a copied source sell can only act on a matching copied position already held by the destination wallet.
