Create or import a wallet

Decide whether to create a new Dexfy wallet or import an existing wallet.

Use My Wallets to create or import wallets for supported chains.

Supabase authenticates your Dexfy account. Privy manages wallet signing material and policy-controlled remote signing for manual and automated execution; Dexfy stores the wallet address and Privy identifiers rather than a plaintext private key in its application database.

Create a new wallet

Creating a new wallet is usually best when you want a clean trading wallet for Dexfy workflows. Keep the wallet funded only with the amount you are prepared to use for the relevant strategy.

EVM chains can reuse the same EVM address when you intentionally select the matching wallet. Solana wallets use a separate SVM address.

Import an existing wallet

Import only wallets you are comfortable using with Dexfy automation. Never import a wallet that holds unrelated long-term funds unless you understand the operational risk.

Import material is sent through the protected wallet flow to Privy. Do not paste it into support, chat, screenshots, logs, or any field other than the wallet import form.

Good practice

  • Give wallets clear names by chain, strategy, or risk level.
  • Avoid reusing one wallet for every workflow.
  • Keep test wallets separate from production wallets.
  • Do not reveal private keys in screenshots or support tickets.
